It’s a girl! :D

My girlfriend’s health conditions are improving, and she can now do some light house cleaning and plan to study again (online classes only) until the end of her pregnancy. I’m trying to take care of her as much as I can, even though I have other things to do during the day too – mostly helping at home and working, I only dedicate little time to my hobbies now. Martina is due on September 15th anyway, so it only takes some more patience. And guess what? It’s a GIRL! *__* Aww it was so overwhelmingly exciting when both of us saw our precious little lady moving on the ultrasound screen last week! Primus, I can’t wait to hold her!

As for other news, I’m enrolling to Tor Vergata University (Course in Literature) on the first week of September 2010. I’m going to wait for my teachers’ confirmation before I buy the textbooks though: sometimes they change their mind halfway the course, so I’ll just wait for classes to start and talk to them about what textbooks to buy and what not. Money’s not something to joke about in this numerous family of mine. :P Heh.

Have I mentioned already that I’ve got new adopted siblings over the last six months? T’rashara, Jeanie, Aquagear, Astra, Jessie, Woody and Federico (not in chronological order).

The ON after the OFF..

I wouldn’t know what’s worse: not being able to update my websites at all, or the feeling that I may loose my online friends. I guess the second possibility is always more dramatic, more hurtful. I hope they haven’t forgotten about me, even after so many months, because I haven’t aboout them. They’re all and always in my heart. <3

There have been a handful of events that kept me away from the online world:

  1. 1. my girlfriend got a possible sign of miscarriage, for how small, and the doctor told her to stay in bed as much as possible for the rest of her pregnancy. I have been assisting her on every free time available, so my hobbies had to wait (now she feels better anyway, and her condition is stable);
  2. 2. my mom is pregnant as well, so she needs help at home; my brothers and sisters are always there of course, but you know… I was her first child, so she needs my presence too. I’m very attached to my mother, so you can imagine;
  3. 3. new siblings joined the family, so I had my share in helping them settle in and trust all of us;
  4. 4. I decided to enrol to university – degree in Literature at the Tor Vergata University. It has nothing to do with culinary arts, I know, but I studied Literature at Lyceum, and I really wish to continue my studies and get a degree. I know I need to find a part-time job soon, but I don’t want to give up on studying. I enjoy it too much.

There have been several birthdays of course, but I will only mention a few in my next post. I’m off to visit my girlfriend now. ‘Later.
